Adverse Weather

In the event of a school closure, there will be a notice on the school website. A text message will be sent out if the children are in school at the time of the announcement.

In the event of bad weather it is always the academy's priority to remain open and, as such, the site team will work to ensure that the site is both accessible and safe.

There are, however, rare occasions when the academy might not be able to open as normal as a result of severe weather. In such circumstances any changes to the usual opening arrangements will be communicated on the academy website and via Lincs FM at http://www.lincsfm.co.uk/news/school-closures/. Where possible, parents will also be informed by our text messaging service.  You can also check on the North Lincs Council website and sign up for updates on http://www.northlincs.gov.uk/your-council/about-your-council/news/school-closures/

In the event of bad weather the academy would ask that all students, staff and visitors wrap up warmly and wear sensible footwear.
